Total Quality
For Isoltema, Quality is a prime factor.
Every action, process and material must be synonymous with Quality.
Isoltema makes its products from top-quality Raw Materials supplied by certified manufacturers who, together with in-house controls, enable us to guarantee a prime-quality product such as to meet the highest industry standards. All the production processes are fully automated and PLC controlled to ensure perfect traceability in all operating stages.
Our products are such that they can be applied in any Country of the world, in any environmental condition and always provide the specifications and performance levels indicated on the technical sheets. For this reason, with the aid of the Company's R&D department, a Total Quality Control programme has been developed aimed at monitoring all the stages of the production process, from the Raw Materials to the Finished Product, to the normal Ageing Process to the Packaging Quality.

The Quality Control System adopted by Isoltema
Quality Control performs all tests required by EN 13707, EN 13969 and EN 13970 standards on the bituminous membranes. This enables the Company to market Bituminous Membranes with EC Declaration of Conformity.
Moreover, in order to perform in-house Quality Controls aimed at further ensuring high product quality standards, a compound sample is taken from each batch/lot to undergo R&D Department controls which make reference to consolidated international standards. Inside our workshop, further purposely-designed tests are also performed on products specially made for specific applications.

For each production lot, finished-product samples are kept with relevant quality tests, which enable the products to be traced over the years. The data acquired by the Quality Control tests are then filed away and stored in a double archive - electronic and paper.
Ageing control
A roll of material is sampled monthly to perform Ageing Checks.
On the sampled material, all scheduled tests are periodically performed to monitor the normal behaviour of the compound over time. According to Isoltema standards, this must maintain adequate adhesive characteristics for over 10 years.
Packaging control
Further random checks are made on the packaged product.
Such checks aim at providing a packaging in compliance with customer requirements and promptly implementing upgrading measures to ensure enhanced characteristics.
